EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
I felt more tired than usual. I had worked a lot for a few years, and had
worked on the house we were building during my vacation. I was supposed to start
working again the day after this happened. I was putting on a new sweater and
while I did this I just fell on the floor. I saw my life as a movie and then I
woke up and said goodbye because I am dying. I was completely convinced that I
was dying, but I was not afraid at all, it was a natural feeling inside to just
let go of life. After that everything became black, I did not hear, see, feel or
remember anything. I woke up but could not move anything except my head, I was
paralyzed. The ambulance came and looked over me, but could not find anything
wrong. The diagnosis was exhaustion. I fell 3 more times after that, I was
completely exhausted.
I see the fact that I saw my life as a movie as a gift. That I am the one that decides how the move is supposed to be. I divorced in 2007 and took a step in to my life, my movie.
Was the kind of experience
difficult to express in words?
No
At the time of this
experience, was there an associated life threatening event?
No
At what time during the
experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?
During the movie and the feeling that I could let go.
How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience
compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?
Normal consciousness and alertness. During the movie and the feeling that I
could let go.
Did your vision differ in
any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field
of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency
of objects, etc.)?
Uncertain, I saw the movie in color.
Did your hearing differ in
any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity,
ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?
Yes, I did not hear
the people around me, no sound at all.
Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?
Yes
What emotions did you feel
during the experience?
Peaceful feelings, safety that I could let go.
Did you pass into or
through a tunnel or enclosure?
No
Did you see a light?
No
Did you meet or see any
other beings? No
Did you experience a
review of past events in your life?
Yes It was my life passing me by, I remember only mostly my childhood. I
saw myself as the girl and the teenager and a little bit of myself as an adult.
I saw pictures during different periods of my life and I learned that life is a
move where we are on stage. I decide how my movie is going to go and who gets to
play a part of it. Today I understand myself a lot better, and I understand that
I am the one that chooses what the movie is about every day. It is not a long
movie, it is day by day, situation by situation. I choose all the time how I am
going to react towards what is happening now. I can either allow other people to
make the movie for me or I can choose to do it myself. Second by second, all the
choices are mine, and I am the one that have to be responsible for those
choices. Even if I think it is someone else’s fault, I have still allowed it to
happen. Life is to react to what happens. Life is to feel what is happening, and
to choose from your heart, or your gut if what is happening is right for me or
not. I have all the right in the world to find my own happiness, my freedom, to
protect myself and to love myself. If I do not love myself the movie will be
very bad and no one wants to be a part of it, in my life. I will only hurt
myself and others.
Did you observe or hear anything
regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?
No
Did you see or visit any
beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?
No
Did you have any sense of
altered space or time?
Yes I did not experience time at all. Nothing. I know that it took 20-30
minutes for the ambulance to come, but I did not experience that time at all.
Did you have a sense of
knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?
Yes I think I described it earlier.
Did you reach a boundary
or limiting physical structure?
No
Did you become aware of
future events? No
Did you have any psychic,
paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have
prior to the experience?
Yes Stronger intuition to take in other peoples intentions, to understand
what they are thinking. Sometimes I say what others are thinking and it can be
confusing. J It is not me talking then, but people think it is me. I can
accept messages from the other side, and feel if anybody wants to say anything.
These are not gifts I am working on to improve; I have learned to keep quiet
when I hear what the other person is thinking. J
Have you shared this experience
with others? No
Did you have any knowledge
of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?
No
How did you view the
reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:
Experience was definitely real. It was scary to discover that I started to live
again. I had been so tired. But, I was grateful to get my life back, even though
it was tough to come back to. I felt a big sorrow, and could not get up for 2
months. I had to get help with everything.
Were there one or several
parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?
How do you currently view
the reality of your experience:
Experience was definitely real. Stronger than before, it has taught me so much.
Have your
relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes, I have eliminated some
people from my movie, because they are not good for me. I have forgiven many
that hve hurted me badly. I feel more love than before, but that does not mean
that I allow people to walk all over me. But, I love everybody anyway.
Have your religious
beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?
No
Following the experience,
have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which
reproduced any part of the experience?
No
Did the questions asked
and information you provided so far accurately and comprehensively describe your
experience? Yes
