COMMENT:  Five year old child, drowning NDE.  This remarkable account has many typical elements common in child NDEs.  You can see the frustration at spending a lifetime trying to integrate the experience into this reality.  You can also see the beginnings of integration because the second time the experience was submitted (almost a year later) his answers are more accepting of himself, finding answers, and of life on earth.

Experience description: 

PLAYING N A CREEK WITH MY FAMILY, I SLID IN A SANDY ARE IN WATER OVER MY HEAD. I THEN BLACKED OUT. I AWOKE OUT OF MY BODY WATCHING MY FAMILY AND RELATIVES TRYING TO REVIVE ME. I WAS ABOVE THEM ABOUT 25 FEET LOOKING DOWN. I WATCHED THEM REVIVE ME . I THEN WAS BACK IN MY BODY.

I REMEMBER THE PLACEMENT OF THE PEOPLE AND THE CLOTHES THEY WORE. I REMEMBER SEEING THINGS IN CINEMA-SCOPE WITH SHARP, CLEAR VISION AND COLORS. NO TUNNEL. NO LIGHTS, BUT IN A CALM PLACE WATCHING EVERYTHING.  THEY CAN'T SEE ME THOUGH.   THEN I WAS THROWING UP AND BACK IN MY BODY.

NO ONE BELIEVED ME WHEN I TOLD THEM. IN THE 1960 I READ ABOUT EDGAR CAYCE, AND BEGAN TO LOOK INTO SPIRITUAL MATTERS AS I GREW AND HAD OTHER EXPERIENCES OVER THE LAST 40 OR SO YEARS

MY GRAND MOTHERS COUNTRY HOME HAS A BRIDGE IN THE FRONT THE ROAD IS ON ONE SIDE AND THE HOUSE THE OTHER. A BRIDGE SPANS A WIDE CREEK. I WAS PLAYING IN THE CREEK. I GOT INTO A SANDY AREA AND I SLID INTO A DEEP HOLE IN THE CREEK BOTTOM. I WAS UNDER WATER. MY FATHER SAW WHAT HAPPENED FROM THE FRONT PORCH. HE JUMPED IN AND TRIED TO REVIVE ME.

I REMEMBER GOING INTO WATER OVER MY HEAD AND SEEING THE AIR BUBBLES GO TO THE SURFACE. THINGS WENT BLACK FOR ABOUT 15 SECONDS. THEN THE SCENE CHANGES. MY FAMILY WAS STANDING AROUND MY BODY, MY FATHER GIVING MOUTH TO MOUTH. I WAS ABOVE THEM FLOATING. MY VISION WAS EXPANSIVE. LIKE A CINEMA-SCOPE MOVIE. I ESPECIALLY REMEMBER MY GRANDMOTHER NAVY POLKA DOT DRESS. THEY COULD NOT SEE OR HEAR ME THOUGH. I WONDERED WHAT WAS GOING ON, WHAT HAPPENED. THEN I REMEMBER THROWING UP AND I WAS BACK IN MY BODY.

I DID NOT UNDERSTAND AT THE TIME WHAT HAPPENED. BUT LATER IN LIFE THIS NDE HAUNTED ME. I TRIED TO GET INFORMATION AND BEGAN READING ABOUT EDGAR CAYCE, PSYCHICS, NDE ETC. I STARTED READING IN THE 1965 AND STOPPED IN THE 1970'S. THEN PICKED UP AGAIN IN THE LATE 1980'S. I HAVE READ SO MUCH ABOUT LIFE , DEATH, THE AFTERLIFE, AND RELIGIONS I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT NO ONE REALLY KNOWS FOR SURE.

Describe your appearance or form apart from your body:  15 SECONDS OF DARKNESS, THEN I SAW MY BODY BEING REVIVED AND EVERYTHING GOING ON AROUND MY BODY : I WAS ABOUT 25 FEET ABOVE IT

What emotions did you feel during the experience?  CONFUSION AND CALM:  CALM AND WONDERED WHAT WAS GOING ON

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?  I DO NOT REMEMBER: NO

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?  No

      Describe:  NO JUST BLACKED OUT AND THEN WAS ABOVE THE BODY

      Describe:  SUNLIGHT AS I LOOKED AT MY BODY AND THE CROWD

      Describe:  I DO NOT THINK SO

      Describe:  I WAS VERY YOUNG JUST 6 YRS OLD. I SAW WERE EVERYONE WAS STANDING AS DAD WORKED TO REVIVE ME. I SAW MY BODY. : CLOTHING PEOPLE WORE

      Describe:  VIVID DREAMS, I DABBLED IN PSYCHIC STUFF LATER IN LIFE, ALMOST AN ADDICTION IN MY LIFE FOR INFORMATION. :  I SAW A GHOST OF MY GRAND FATHER A FEW YEARS LATER IN 1959. HE WALKED FROM THE BEDROOM TO THE KITCHEN

      Describe:  I HATE CREATION. I AM A UN-CREATIONIST. I DO NOT THINK WE HAVE FREE WILL AT ALL. I THINK WE THINK WE HAVE FREE WILL BUT IT IS A CROCK. IF I HAD MY CHOICE I WOULD LIKE GOD, IF THEIR IS ONE , TO UN-CREATE MY SOUL.  THE ULTIMATE ACT OF FREE WILL....MY FREE WILL WOULD BE NOT TO BE A SOUL AT ALL.:  INTERESTED IN PSYCHIC STUDIES, DREAMS AFTERLIFE ETC

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?  I DID NOT HAVE A LIFE REVIEW, TUNNEL OR LIGHT.  I DID DO PAST LIFE REGRESSION IN 1993. THE FIRST STOP WAS THE DROWNING INCIDENT ALLOVER AGAIN. :  NOT AFRAID OF DEATH
