EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was deep sea diving with my brother James, 17 years old and the diving teacher.

For some reason he took us in the blue, on a boat, and decided to dive to 240 feet (which is only for professionals).

the bottom, which was of sand, looked flat but wasn’t, so we kept going deeper...

At one moment I saw an enormous amber shell planted in the sand...

I was happy, decided to bring it up, it was about 1 meter tall, in the shape of a mussel.

I grabbed it and swing it with all my might, it hardly budged.

But I sucked all my air up doing that...and we were all binging.

I asked air from my brother, who played with me and his mouthpiece...after 3 tries I figured he’ll never realize I was really our of air...had my reserve, but with binging, none thought of just pulling it!

So as I was dying, I could feel that soon I would take my mask and mouthpiece out, and my brain was telling me: You’re under water, very deep, not logical, you’ll die. But you know you’re going to do it anyway!

So I decided to use my last energy to join the teacher who was pretty far away, swam to him and grabbed his arm strongly. So the 2 decided to bring me up, they didn’t give me air, but from 240 feet it took 45 minutes.

Suddenly I came out of my physical body, looked at the scene, came closer to see and recognize myself, big shock!  Then popped in a marvelous Light, so bright and yet non blinding, pure love, all knowing. I had a choice, stay (which you really want) or go back, I bought I’m 19 years old, my parents, brothers, friends will be sad (although I had no idea of what happy or sad meant, then thought that I don’t want to be born again. At that second my body surfaced and my other body(s) slapped back in my physical body with great force. It was 45 minutes later.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   No 

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  No    

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    In the Light, seeing everywhere, knowing all.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   I just knew and saw all.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   Don’t remember, except the sort of silent voice telling me I could choose to stay or live but I had a limited time. Although I didn’t know how long.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   No  

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   Just total bliss.  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   No  

Did you see an unearthly light?   No  

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No  

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   No  

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   Yes   My whole life went before my eyes in less than a second, or so it appeared.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
Time didn’t exist anymore.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   Everything about the universe
All knowing.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   No

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No 

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (“life after death”)?   Yes   It’s just a certitude.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   Yes   I always knew of my past death since a child.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that a mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   It just does.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience  

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   I changed my name. I’m not afraid of death and hope I’m conscious enough to see the passage.
