Karen C Probable NDE

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was working a second shift job so after my husband left for work, I took a nap. I found myself in front of a door. It magically opened and my step mother greeted me. She said "Hi, Karen, Come on in". She was absolutely beautiful and younger than I knew her. She had a white gown. Her hair was long and shoulder length. I stepped into an apartment. It was the most brilliant white light I ever saw. As I stepped into her apartment, she said "I will show you around". I saw her bedroom, which was a single bed and white. Her living room all white. Her kitchen/dining room which she invited me to sit down and to drink some tea with her. I sat down and asked her who the guy was in the living room. I was thinking it. She answered that it was her first husband. Each time I was thinking about something, she had an answer. When she got my tea, she said that she knew I took a drop of lemon and 2 Splendas. So I thought, now how would she know that? It was telepathic. She read my mind and answered. She told me that she loves her family and is with all of us including her grandchildren. When the social time was over, she took me to the door, told me that things were going to happen in my life, however, WE are with you no matter what happens. We are there with you she kept emphasizing. She told me about the pets that would need me. She told me that my purpose on earth is still needed. In fact, she told me that there are people that still need me on earth. It was time to go. In a flash, I bolted back into my body, got quickly up and took my blood sugar which was 16. I was brought back. No one was home.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     Insulin dependent diabetic. When I was bolted back into my body, Blood sugar registered 16.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    Visiting my step mother

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?    More consciousness and alertness than normal

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     Everything was so clear and simple, very bright light.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?            No      

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Peace. Understanding. Acceptance. Love. Compassion.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          No      

Did you see a light?           Yes     The light radiated from the apartment and my step mother.

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     Step mother in her apartment. I did not know her first husband nor was introduced to him. Telepathic.

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes     I was given vague idea of events about death of pets or adoption of pets; I was told that my father needed me; and that events in my life will be happening which they did. It did not make any sense when she told me. Later as event happened, I would think about it.

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?            Yes     Her apartment.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     I knew I was somewhere else.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Yes     I found my own purpose on earth.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No      

Did you become aware of future events?       Yes              Premonitions or perceptions about life events. 6th sense

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     Yes     Premonitions or 6th sense or perceptive more than I had before this experience.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Mixed reactions. Most understood the intercession of an Angel. Others were more concern about my health. One thought I was going to the dark side. I think the majority that responded to me felt relieved that heaven served tea, lemon and splenda to me. It was a relief to know God is with us.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    Yes            Just heard about it and did not pay any attention to it. Until my own happened.

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    Sometimes, I see the Angel and see the brilliant white light; I hear her voice and it comes across comforting especially when I am struggling with an issue. Her voice reminds me that I am not alone...We are with you.

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?            Serving me tea, drop of lemon, and Splenda. This angel, my step mother knew a lot about me including giving me 2 splenda in my tea. I thought it was interesting our flow of conversation. All subjects were ok with her. I talked with her telepathically. She read my thoughts. When I walked to the doorway, I wanted to stay longer. It seemed I spent some time with her. I left quickly.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was definitely real    It still is real because I hear the voice either through others or out of the blue.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?           Yes     I am more aware of relationships.

Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?            Yes     I am more aware of my  own spiritual being. My body is just that. It is my spirit that leaves.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes     I see the brilliant white light on several occasion.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        It was incredible. I wanted to tell my story.
