EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I went to swim (because of my older sister asking me to go swim with her) and I did not know that I will not be able to reach the bottom of the lake with my feet (water was too deep). I immediately started to drown... I did not feel any pain, discomfort...nothing... I just remember seeing plants that were at the bottom of the lake and this beautiful light coming from the top down ..and I had this very unusual feeling of absolute peace and harmony....It was a very pleasant experience. I do not remember being pulled from the lake, but I remember that I was placed on the blanket and I had this out of body strange experience...like it was two of me (one that was fine and was looking down on other me).

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Uncertain   I am very much aware of the importance of nature in our lives and I dedicated my life to communicate about its beauty to others. Peace and harmony are very important to me.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?   I had 3 episodes (near the death experiences) in my life. Those significantly impacted my life.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   Yes   I did not have any NDE knowledge ( I was a child when all 3 NDEs happened)...and I did no share my experience with anyone until recently I read about other people experiencing something so similar...

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?   Yes   About 14 years later after my last NDE, I had strange episodes (without any medical explanation - doctors could not set any diagnoses for me despite them observing me for the entire period time on the outpatient basis) when I was living in the different world (no medications, no any alcohol or other influences, no medical problems). Only what I could recognize was nature, I was able to see structure of plants and I would have incredible desire to spend entire days and nights in the nature (I could not stay in any buidling, I was able to solve very complex mathematical problems - I cannot solve them now, and I could not withstand people - their presence around me was very hurthful).

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?   I had 3 NDEs always associated with an incredible sense for nature, harmony and peace.
