Experience description: 

      I had a temporary job driving an 18 wheeler truck, was driving on I-10 in Arizona. Suddenly I felt nausea in my stomach and began to get very confused in what was happing. I felt as I was going into a deep sleep fighting to try to stay awake.  I pulled of to the side of the road..somehow I managed to stop the truck. Parked on the side of the road,  I was still fighting to stay awake, felt like I was passing-out. Next thing I remember was traveling through this beautiful colorful tunnel. It looked as I was traveling through something that looked like a blood vessel- best way I can describe it, it seemed to be a long journey. Heard voices as I was traveling through, but saw no-one. The speed traveling through the tunnel was very fast and long. The voice got louder and the light was getting brighter, heard the voice say "no it's not his time yet... you have more to accomplish with your family." Then I heard mumbles, couldn't make out what was said.
The light was very bright and I could almost see the opening of the end of the tunnel, but next thing I remember was.. I was lifting my head of the steering wheel. I was still confused and in a fainting condition.  I got out of the cab of the truck and staggered around for a while. Finally I seem to have recovered from that spell. Still weak and shaky. I drove myself to a hospital. I was having seizures. I lost about 30-45 minutes during that time. My left side was very weak and I stayed in the hospital over a week till my wife came up from Louisiana. I had these seizure for about 6 months. Doctors evaluation was that I had a stroke sometime before I had this experience and I was having seizures.  I don't believe that cause I would of have known something prior to this incident.

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes
      What was it about the experience that makes it hard to communicate?  So much happened in that time and is is hard to recall the event as it happened.
I recall things out of order and can still picture most of what had happened.
At the time of the experience, was there an associated life threatening event?  Yes
      Describe:  I thought for sure I was leaving this world. But as I got closer to the end of the tunnel I heard a voice telling me that quote" No..It's not his time yet...
you have more to accomplish with your family."

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?  When I was in the tunnel I was fully alert. Everything was very clear and very detailed, all colors were bright and clear, every line in the tunnel was clear.

Was the experience dream like in any way?  no

Did you experience a separation of consciousness from your body?  No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?  Don't recall, except I was very impressed overjoyed of the wonderful tunnel. I believe at first I was afraid of what I had entered, but as I traveled it began to look wonderful.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?  voices as stated above

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?  Yes
      Describe:  as i stated above

Did you see a light?  Yes
      Describe:  bright colors and bright light at the end of the tunnel

      Describe:  heard voices as stated above

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?  No

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Yes
      Describe:  lost 30-45 minute un accounted for.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?  No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?  Yes
      Describe:  Yes, the voice was getting louder and I saw the bright light at the end of the tunnel. That all I recall till I raised my head of the steering wheel.

Did you become aware of future events?  Yes
      Describe:  Family members needed guidance.  The problems with family members became real.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision to return to the body?  No response
      Describe:  I heard the voice say that it was not time for me to go yet.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?  Uncertain
      Describe:  Not sure, but I know when something is wrong with any of my kids.

      Describe:  I look at life totally differently.

      Describe:  My wife, She believe me, she is very religious and understood everything I had told her

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  First confused until I realized what really had happened to me.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  Worst was staggering around after the experience and the beginning before I past out or entered the tunnel.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?  It was something that I never dreamed of experiencing, but it happened..
