Experience Description

At the time my air way was being blocked off by a much larger boy who was at the school bus stop. He responded to me making fun about him with the other kids. He pushed me up against a tree and as I blacked out, I felt myself sliding down the face of the tree.

The next thing I knew I was looking down on this whole scene. I saw myself and the girls that were pulling him off me. This looking down scene lasted no more than 3 seconds. But during that time, I do recall having 360 degree vision.

I recall coming back to consciousness and gasping for air. My throat hurt for several hours at school that day. Then the whole thing was forgotten about until almost 20 years ago when I read about someone's NDE.

The experience included: Out of body experience

Did you feel separated from your body? No But I have seen my life's future in 3 to 4 second intervals many times since then. I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal Hard to say, it might be best to say my mind felt free and open!

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? One to one and a half seconds.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning

Were your senses more vivid than usual? More vivid than usual
