I was 13 years old when I passed. I am an epileptic and I was swimming in a pool. I had a Grand Mal seizure in the pool, drowned, and was clinically dead for a few minutes. I also went into a 4-day coma after that time. I do remember my Near Death Experience. It was very simple. I remember seeing me lying at the bottom of the pool and I begin to hover or float. My mother was screaming. Someone jumped into the pool and pulled me out. Then it was like a sudden rush of something pushed me back into body and that was it. It was nothing fancy.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? After my near death experience, I started to experience a type of sleep paralysis; otherwise known as old hags disease. This is where a figure, usually dark in nature, comes to you in the middle of the night and stands over you at the end of your bed. I always felt that this figure was trying to communicate with me, but I was too scared or frightened to listen. You will hear whispers and feel a constriction on chest as if someone is pushing on you. I have never figured out if this is truly old hags or not, or if this disease is made up to try and explain something else. I have always been able to sense when others, who are not still alive, are in a room or near you. But, I am totally unable to control it.
