Experience Description

I am a type 1 diabetic and my blood sugar was extremely high. I was incoherent. My dad took me to the emergency room. It was determined that I had an infection from a foot blister that my body went in to ketoacidosis. I didn't really know what they were doing to me in the emergency room. My dad was next to the bed and holding my hand. I remember hearing him praying aloud while the doctors were working on reviving me. But, I didn't really know what was happening.

I saw a beautiful bright light and was in a cloud. I was looking down at myself, my crying dad who was praying and holding my hand, my mom sitting on a chair and the doctors/nurses working on me. I hovered above my body for quite a while. I saw a bright light and a person. I think it was Jesus because he looked like the typical picture of him with long hair, etc. I not sure how to describe what happened next, but it wa like a cloud was back on the table and taking a breath. The cloud-like bright light, hovering feeling was gone.

I felt a sense of relief come from the doctors/nursing working on me, my dad, and my mom. I was not frightened at all or scared. I felt very peaceful.
